When Mariemeia Khushrenada declares war against the peaceful Earth Sphere United Nation, Quatre Raberba Winner takes it upon himself to stop the Gundams from flying into the sun. After catching up with the transport and turning it around, he returns each Gundam to its respective pilot and resumes his role with Sandrock.
The Gundams return to Earth to help Tallgeese 3 and Taurus battle the Serpent Customs. Sandrock Custom strikes and sheds its cloak, and the three Gundams battle the Serpents. As they have always been, the Gundams are once again outnumbered; the difference this time is that it seems it may be fatal when one is outnumbered by Serpents. Enter Wing Zero and its amazingly powerful buster rifle. The Gundams' roles end with Wing Zero's destruction, and on a sunny day following the war, Sandrock is taken outside the city and self-detonated by Quatre.
