Heavyarms is sent to the sun, but is saved by Quatre Raberba Winner when Mariemeia Khushrenada declares war against the Earth Sphere United Nation. Trowa Barton takes back his Gundam to fight Mariemeia, and joins up with Deathscythe and Sandrock to battle Serpent Custom suits outside Mariemeia's underground base. They do well for a while, but are soon surrounded and overwhelmed. Things begin to look bleak until Wing Zero shows up overhead and destroys the shield around the base.
Following the war against Mariemeia, Heavyarms Custom is taken to an empty area outside the city and self detonated by Trowa, and that's the end of Gundam Heavyarms.
