With the other Gundams minus Altron, Deathscythe Hell is sent to the sun at the conclusion of the Eve Wars. When war breaks out once again, though, Duo resumes his role as Shinigami - the God of Death. After recovering Deathscythe from the transport alongside Trowa and Quatre, Duo travels to Earth to help Zechs Merquise and Lucrezia Noin battle the Serpent Custom mobile suits outside of Mariemeia Khushrenada's underground compound. Feeling that killing their enemies would defeat the purpose of fighting for peace, the Gundams, Tallgeese, and Noin's Taurus all work to disable the suits without killing the pilots. Soon, though, the Gundams are swamped by too many Serpents. Luckily, Wing Zero arrives and destroys the shield protecting the base. Deathscythe Hell's role ends.
After the short war concludes, Deathscythe Hell is taken out with Heavyarms and Sandrock and is self detonated from a distance by Duo Maxwell.
