Unlike the other four Gundams, Altron Gundam is not sent to the sun after the Eve Wars. Instead, Wu Fei joins up with Mariemeia Khushrenada to fight the Earth Sphere United Nation, and keeps Altron with him. Altron's first battle comes when Hiiro Yuy and Duo Maxwell force their way into colony L1X18999 and steal a couple of Space Leo suits. Wu Fei easily beats up on Hiiro's Leo, but a missile explosion from Trowa's Serpent throws a cloud of smoke and dust into the area, and Hiiro escapes, leaving only a severely damaged Space Leo with its beamsaber still glowing.
Altron escorts Mariemeia's shuttle out of the colony, but stops at the edge of the atmosphere to await the return of the Wing Gundam Zero. And finally, Wing Zero does return. Wu Fei and Hiiro battle, and although Wu Fei vows to stop Hiiro from going to Earth, their battle ends up leading them into the atmosphere. They resume fighting above the ocean, but the fight does not last long. Hiiro surrenders, and Wing Zero plunges into the sea. Hiiro speaks to Wu Fei as Wing Zero falls - speaks about his own personal experience that dictates his beliefs now. "How many times must I kill that little girl and her dog?" Hiiro's words shake Wu Fei, and he recalls the explosion of his own colony, the home colony of the Long Clan. "Must an incident like that be repeated?" Wu Fei sees how wrong his decision to join Mariemeia was. Altron leads a group of angry citizens in their protest against Mariemeia's Serpent Custom mobile suits.
After the war ends, Altron Gundam Nataku no longer has a purpose. Wu Fei takes it out into the wilderness and self-detonates the Gundam.
