Deathscythe Hell is the rebuilt Gundam Deathscythe. As you may or may not know, either from seeing the series or reading the Deathscythe page, Trowa, who takes a job at OZ once he gets into space, destroys Deathscythe. Well, the scientists who built the Gundams recover what's left of it and rebuild it, making it much stronger. The result is Gundam Deathscythe Hell.
Deathscythe Hell first shows up in battle when Duo and Wu Fei escape the Lunar Base. Wu Fei in his new Altolong and Duo in his Deathscythe Hell fight their way through an army of mobile dolls and escape into space.
Duo finds himself a place to live in a colony with Hildy, an ex-OZ volunteer that he met before being captured. Duo makes occasional attacks on OZ with Deathscythe Hell and Hildy just stays at the colony, since she lacks a mobile suit of her own. At one point, Trent, an OZ soldier using Wing Zero, arrives in the colony and takes Duo out to space to test him in Wing Zero. Duo sees a vision of himself blowing up a colony with Wing Zero and gets out, then battles Trent in Wing Zero with his Deathscythe Hell. Wing Zero seems to be stronger, but Duo manages to survive... although neither side really wins.
Duo later joins Howard and the other Gundam pilots on the Peacemillion. Eventually, all five pilots gather there, and they make strikes on the White Fang. Duo and Deathscythe are pretty much just one of the group, and do nothing spectacular for a while.
Eventually, Hildy, the girl who Duo had been living with for a while, returns to the series with valuable information on the White Fang's super battleship, Libra. On the way, she's attacked by mobile doll versions of the Mercurius and Vayeate, so Duo has to battle them. These are two exceptionally strong mobile suits, with the reflexes of a mobile doll, and the battle data of Hiiro Yuy and Trowa Barton. Duo has trouble at first, but eventually, he and his Deathscythe Hell Gundam destroy both and take Hildy back to Peacemillion.
Once again, Duo is "one of the group" and does nothing extraordinary or outstanding until the final battle. Libra is plunging toward Earth, Peacemillion has rammed it, and Duo takes the five scientists who designed Libra (as well as the Gundams) to Peacemillion to try to reverse the ships' course. After they're safely aboard, Duo goes off to fight, and for the rest of the series (less than one whole episode at this point...), Duo and Deathscythe Hell are basically reduced to some random shots of their fight against mobile dolls and Libra, and a sit-and-watch position as Hiiro and Zechs fight, and as Hiiro attempts to save the Earth.
