Nothing new here.
The extra information this time is about the White Fang. There's some background info on the White Fang, with images accompanying each part of the story. The featured mobile suit is Heavyarms Kai, which I actually don't like. Heavyarms Kai didn't change at ALL from Heavyarms, except that it got an extra beam gatling gun (and maybe a few extra weapons... I can't remember right now). No drastic changes to the appearance, no upgraded ability levels... In my opinion, the featured mobile suit should have been Deathscythe Hell, and then Altron on Operation 10 (or vice versa), or maybe Peacemillion and Libra on Operations 9 and 10. But not Heavyarms Kai... there's just no real point to it. Anyway, the insert once again has summaries of each episode and the wire frame model of Heavyarms Kai. The back has ads of all the same stuff that was advertised on Operation 8's insert (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team Vol. 1, The Big O Vol. 1, Crest of the Stars Vol. 1: To the Stars, Escaflowne Vol. 6: Fate and Fortune, and Angel Links Vol. 1: Avenging Angel).
Milliardo Peacecraft has become leader of the White Fang. In an effort to eradicate the OZ Space Forces, the White Fang launches an attack on their last stronghold, the Space Fortress Barge. The Gundams show up to find out exactly what the hell is going on in Zechs' head, but their intentions suddenly change when Barge's beam cannon hits a nearby Colony. As the cannon charges up for a second shot, Duo and Quatre break off their battle with Zechs' Epyon to go stop it. However, Zechs beats them to it and with one long slash of the Epyon's beam saber, Barge goes down. On Earth, Hiiro attempts to assassinate Queen Relena, but of course, he changes his mind at the last minute. Shortly before returning to space, he's met by Sally Po, who has located the Gundam Heavyarms. The two of them return to space, where they meet up with Wu Fei, and then go to Peacemillion. The battleship Libra is completed, and shortly thereafter, the remnants of the OZ Space Forces captures a colony and demands the return of the Libra. In response, Zechs takes the Libra toward the colony. Believing that Zechs plans to fire the Libra's main cannon at the colony, the Gundam pilots set out to liberate it before Libra arrives. However, Zechs fires the cannon anyway and it is revealed that his target was not the colony, but the Earth itself. Following the attack on Earth, Zechs launches a war of attrition against the Gundam pilots and Peacemillion while on Earth, Treize Khushrenada asks Relena Peacecraft to step down as leader of the World Nation and begins preparing for the greatest battle in the history of mankind.
The Rhythm Emotion intro FINALLY appears on this disc. And with the Rhythm Emotion intro comes... the Just Communication intro credits. Unless "Rhythm Emotion" recently became renamed "Just Communication," too... Anyway, episode-wise, this is probably the third best disc behind Operation 10 (which has yet to be released) and Operation 5 (well, fourth if you throw Endless Waltz in there). I'd recommend Gundam W fans pick this one up, because it's pretty good.
